DESCRIBING AN AGRICULTURAL LANDSCAPE


This photo of this agricultural landscape is from Ávila, Spain and it shows us a corn crop.

It's a very extensive plot and also it can be:
  • An open field, because there isn't any boundaries and we can't see if there are bounderies.
  • A monoculture, because there's only the corn crop.
  • A irrigated farming, the water is brought using the machinery that we can see in the picture.
  • An extensive agriculture, because we can find this landscape in sparsely populated areas with lots of land but limites manual labour, requiring the use of machinery.
